FYI, The following went out by e-mail to all those that had not yet subscribed to my blog after my failed attempt to simplify my life.
And, I have to say, I rather LIKE the Land of the Dinosaurs. They are my people.

OK, I got a lot of flack for my recent request to subscribe to my blog.
I wanted to make it so I could post on my blog while travelling using just a phone. That now seems impractical.
I also wanted to make post notifications easier. That is turning out not to be the case.
There are people that want to read my stories, but don't want to sign up for anything. Some of these are people that I really want to read my blog.
For some people, when they try to subscribe, wordpress wants them to create a username and password. There is a tiny link on that page that says you can sign up without creating a user ID, but it is hard to notice.
IF you signed up with a username/password you will get at least one ad for Wordpress, asking you to finish creating your blog. This pissed off at least one reader.
SO...… I give up. I will continue to write my posts the old fashioned way and e-mail notices out. I will also continue to make a post with links to my stories on my BLOG.
This means, you can sign up, or not, it doesn't matter. You will eventually get an email with a link to my stories. I am going back to the Land of the Dinosaurs.
I apologize for any inconvenience. If you no longer want emails from me, let me know and I will remove you from the list.
By The Way, I ALWAYS send these things out blind carbon copy, so no one else will see your email address.
